Collaboration is crucial for ML teams to work effectively, and fast, accurate QA is essential to ensure quality work. With these considerations in mind, we're thrilled to announce the release of Comment Tool 2.0.
This latest update introduces two powerful new additions - the Issues Tab in the annotation workview and the Hide Comments toggle - that help users collaborate and spot errors more efficiently. Additionally, we've made tweaks to the Comment Tool 2.0 UI, enhancing the user experience and making it more intuitive and user-friendly.
Let’s have a look.
The Issues Tab centralizes all comments and issues (e.g. disagreements) in one location. This makes it easier for users to manage feedback and collaborate more effectively.
The Issues Tab lists all the comments and issues created for the current item, and allows users to sort comments by creation date or last update. Threads can be resolved or deleted directly from the panel, improving workflow efficiency. Additionally, the Issues Tab highlights new unread messages with a red pill, ensuring users stay up-to-date with the latest feedback. Within this tab you can also delete all comments or hide them based on authorship.
We’ve also introduced the ability to hide comments individually or in groups, providing users with greater control over their feedback management. When a comment is hidden, it's no longer rendered in the Workview Canvas, freeing up space for focused labeling.
Finally, we've redesigned the UI of the Comment Tool to make it more intuitive and user-friendly. With the new UI, users can add comments and follow conversations more easily, and thus collaborate more efficiently and resolve disagreements faster.
