As of July 2022, V7 offers full support for yet another medical image format—NIFTI.
NIFTI is a key format used in medical imaging. V7 allows its users to import NIFTI files, work with them in multiple views, as well as export files in the NIFTI format.
Why does this matter?
Whilst it is possible to convert NIFTI to DICOM, quality and information are lost along the way. This is why NIFTI is superior to DICOM, and now the format is fully supported by V7.
